Must-Have Footwear This Autumn

It is a well-known fact by all women that a woman can never ever have too many shoes. They are the basis of each outfit. They hold the ability to change a look entirely. Shoes are a gift from above, trust me. This Autumn, we’ve seen a lot of change in the world of shoes. The actual heel has begun to steal the limelight, trainers can be worn with ANYTHING, if it’s pointed, it’s a keeper and knee-high is the new ankle-boot. So, if you’re looking to purchase a new pair of shoes sometime soon, take a look at these babies:

The Trainers:

Adidas Stan Smiths – £65

These are probably the most versatile shoes you could buy; casual and comfy with jeans but a refreshing and reliable choice with a dress. However, I would not recommend these if you have tiny feet like me because they make your feet look super-stubby.

Superga 2750 Lamew in Platinum – £50

In my eyes, Superga is the better converse. The sneaker style is just so flattering and with Alexa Chung as a big fan, why wouldn’t you want these? Also the gold metallic colour is right in line with the season; Autumn’s all about golden leaves (more like brown, mushy, soggy leaves but nevermind) and the likes.

Converse Break Point in Mason White – £40

Okay, I take it back, I do like some Converse. These from the new collection are just gorgeous. They sort of remind me of my Adidas Gazelles from when they were all the rage in year 8/9, but these don’t ‘dwarf’ small feet. These are more a with-jeans shoe that the Stan Smiths, in my opinion.

The Boots:4755000109_1

Carvela Kurt Geiger ‘WOODEN’ Boots – £200

Alright these are a little expensive and the kinda thing I’d have to convince my mum to go ‘halves’ on with me, but LOOK HOW PRETTY THEY ARE! From experience, it is SO worth buying expensive boots and shoes because they truly last forever (think Doc Martens). Additionally, these boots have stretch material at the back, which is great for girls like myself who are the unfortunate owners of thunder-calves.

Zara High Heel Glitter Bootie – £39.99

Oh just look at how sparkly they are. No female that I know of can resist glitter. So jazzy, yet SO wearable, I just love these boots already. And with a wearable sized heel, they give you that little bit of added height to lengthen your legs.

ASOS ENLIGHTEN Fringe Leather Peep Toe Boots – £45

Suede – CHECK! Fringe Detailing – CHECK! Peep Toe – CHECK! BASICALLY EVERYTHING THATS IN THIS SEASON – CHECK! I. Need. These. Now. Okay, they may be a little insensible for rainy weather, which is basically all that British Autumn consists of –  but who really cares?

The Shoes:

Doc Martens Polley Shoes – £90

These are a) more indestructible than a Nokia and b) about the cutest pair of shoes you’ll ever see. I have loved these for ages –  even though I already own a pair of docs shoes. When you have one pair you just want MORE. Worth the big price tag.

ASOS MATCHED Leather Brogues in Nude – £45

As you can probably tell I love comfort and versatility in shoes, mainly because decent shoes are pretty expensive, so I believe that you should get your wear out of them. These pretty little things can complete any look from the new girl-boy style to a dainty little tea dress – perfect.

The Pumps:image1xl-3

Warehouse Pointed Ghillie Lace-up Flat Shoes – £40

These are my favourite out of the whole of the collection, simply because I have nothing like them and they look so feminine, ballerina-esque. Black again. The ultimate go-with-everything colour. Flats are the way forward, I promise you.

Oasis Metallic Pointed Flat Shoes – £22

Rose gold; an extremely flattering colour for paler skin tones. These pair scream sophistication and are spot on with the growing popularity of metallics and points. And for this price, they’re a total steal!

That’s all for today, I hope I haven’t triggered your shoe addictions too much!
